This is from "Conversations with Ernest Hemingway"

Ernest to George Plimpton,1958:

Why be puzzled by that? From things that have happened and from things as they exist and from all things that you know and all those you cannot know, you make something through your invention that is not a representation but a whole new thing truer than anything true and alive, and you make it alive, and if you make it well enough, you give it immortality. That is whty you write and for no other reason that you know of. But what about all the reasons that no one knows?

Just wanted to share,

Gail

Hi, sorry that I could not give more information, but that was all that I had.  I watched it at 10:30, not 10:00 .  Ernie Mainland and one of the Sanfords were on there , it only lasted about half an hour and you did not miss anything.  A few pictures that I had not seen, and some information about Seney.  And of course, who was the favorite sister???
