I am new to the Hemingway Resource Center, so please forgive me if I have posed my comments in the wrong place. If I have, I would appreciate your directing me to the correct resource(s).
Several years ago I obtained a first edition, hardback copy of Hemingway's In Our Time without the dust jacket. It is not signed. The book seems to be in very good condition. Inside the book, on the end paper, is attached an original, unpublished, very early photo of a young Ernest Hemingway standing beside his younger brother, Leicester. I know from a little research that this book itself is somewhat difficult to come by, and I suspect the original photo is also quite unusual. In light pencil, the year 1923 is written under the photo along with the words "at Oak Park home, Ills". The back of the photo has "Xmas 1923" and "Ernie & Leicester" written in ink.
I would appreciate knowing how to contact someone, or some organization, who might have an idea of the value of this book and original photo.
