Friends,
As part of my job I was given the responsibility to name a road
& I want to name it in honor of E.H. I'm psyched b/c it will be
there forever, but I'm having trouble coming up with anything
good. The general theme of street names in the area is is
Americana. I grew up in "Clemens Crossing" for example.
Any suggestions?

True Gen Blvd.,
Clean, Well-Lighted Place,
Papa's Place,
Hemingway's Way, ....

You've got your work cut out for you.

Please tell us  what you  choose and

where it is...so we can look it up someday.

How about...

 Heming  Way

or

Wemedge St.  (After his self-appointed nickname)

Yando,
"Heming Way". Perfect. (Wish I'd thought of it.)
If we get to vote, it gets mine.

Wemedge isn't too bad... How about Skylight Point???

I'm not real sure, but I believe that Wemedge is a name the Native Americans up in Michigan gave to his father:(meaning eagle eye) His father was a great shot.

I'm all for "Heming Way," as it seems near-perfect to me.

However, there's also:

Estafeta (the most important street en-route to the bullring in Pamplona)

Calle San Jeronimo (an old Madrid street on which I believe Heimgway sets his "Hotel Montana.")

Ernesto Blvd

Best,
hijo

Heming Way seems the most practical and easy for the non-Hemingway reader to understand.
